SDSL is a higher speed broadband connection than ADSL. The contention ratio of these connections ranges from 10:1 to 1:1, meaning far less people are 'sharing' the same pipe/line with you. With SDSL, outbound activities including file uploading and email attachments are conducted with the same speed as inbound activities - the upload and download speeds are the same.
