TweetDeck: Twitters UK Firm shut by regulator

The British company that was bought by Twitter for a reported £25m has been shut down by the business regulator after it failed to file its accounts.

The name was TweetDeck as many of you may know it used to be great up until the point of a few months ago when you wouldn’t file the accounts for 2011. According to the San Francisco based firm its functionality has now been incorporated into the main structure of Twitter itself. TweetDeck the product still continues to thrive as a part of Twitter, however the old TweetDeck Company has been dormant for some time with no sign of moving hence the decision to dissolve it.
